A Taiwanese traditional classic passed down from our late grandfather. We cut the bitter melon cross section while retaining all the seeds inside to keep the flavour of the vegetable. It is then seasoned and marinated in soy sauce and salted black bean. The taste is bitter with a hint of savoury sweet aftertaste. Although an acquired taste, many of our patrons come back for this dish for the unique taste and many health benefits and nutritions of the bitter melon.
